Common Ground Senior Services is a private non-profit organization formed in 2000 with the vision to help empower, enhance, and maintain the dignity of older adults living in the communities we serve. Our goal is to provide the services and support structures that enable our seniors and other individuals to live independently and safely in their own homes.
Our focus is to enhance the lives of people in their later years by offering services and support that fill gaps not provide for by family, friends, caregivers and other agencies. This includes, but is not limited to, nutritional needs, information and assistance, transportation and advocacy.
The staff at Common Ground Senior Services actively participates in several community advocacy and support projects both in Amador and Calaveras Counties, including Commission on Aging, Social Service Transportation Advisory Council, and Senior Provider Networks.
To better understand and serve the needs of older adults living in our communities, the team at Common Ground believes in strong and effective community collaboration and partnerships.
